Description
The Chronicles of Bone is a dark-fantasy AI series created, written and directed by Kavan Cardoza ("Kavan the Kid," co-founder of Phantom X). It reimagines classic characters — Peter Pan, Robin Hood, King Arthur, Frankenstein — inside one shared universe threatened by a vampire army, House Mordane. Cardoza runs the production almost single-handedly: writing, building, animating, editing, sound design, color grading and post all fall to him, in what Freepik's own coverage calls a hybrid workflow — he designs and hand-sews the characters' physical costumes, then feeds those pieces into Freepik's AI creative suite to generate the on-screen versions. Freepik acquired the series for distribution, but Cardoza keeps full authorship and 100% of the IP. New episodes premiere on the first Tuesday of every month, each running roughly 10–15 minutes and taking three to four weeks to produce. The story is mapped out across five planned seasons with more than 40 main characters and interconnected plotlines. The series began as a run of "Prologue" episodes before Season 1's "Chapter One" picked up the main story.
