A prequel to Echo Hunter that continues the clone hunter's story before the events of the first film, made in collaboration with Kling AI.
A Phantom X project directed by Kavan Cardoza ("Kavan the Kid"), made in collaboration with Kling AI. It was showcased at MIPCOM Cannes as part of a Kling AI program alongside other studio-partner projects, including Michael Mitchell's "The Variable" and S.A.V.'s "OG Prime". The prequel builds on the reach and reputation of the original Echo Hunter, the first AI film approved by SAG-AFTRA.
Shorter and leaner than the original, but it earns its place as a prequel. Kling AI's motion handling on the crowd scenes is noticeably smoother than what we saw a year ago.
Feels more like a proof-of-concept for the partnership than a standalone story, but it's a good five minutes if you've already seen Echo Hunter.
